Chris Abele: The man, the myth, the legend

(NOTE: Don't worry, the week in rock was indeed reviewed. Please read this first, however, then return to reading below about rock you don't care about.)

FUCK THE ASTROS (PITCH TO BONDS)!!!!!
FUCK MICHAEL SCHUMACHER!!!!!

Christopher John Abele was once my roommate. Back in our college days, we shot the shit, him talking incessantly about auto racing and me talking incessantly about music. Then we went to Backyard Burger (R.I.P., in Wooster at least) or Hardees. Ah, those were the days. Now he lives in L.A. with his feet up, racing his go-kart and drinking Ravenswood wine. In the immortal words of Hepcat, "No worries, man, no worries." Must be nice. Of course, I think he still likes Jet, so I guess we can't all be perfect. So this post is dedicated to Chris Abele, because he won a contest on this here blog and because..."DAT'S MY ROOOOOMMMAAAAAAATE!!!!!"

Fantastic. Drew- the Jet thing is LONG over here in fad-based LA (witness laker fans.. lot fewer of them now huh? Morons.) Anyway.. I had nearly forgotten that I/we hate the Astros, thanks for the brush up. PS- theres some killer ubiquity events in LA, you need to move here.

Wow, I'm glad you persevered against the Blogger oppression, because I sure didn't change anything with the post. Anyhoo, I'm glad you enjoyed your tribute. Damn, I hope the Jet thing is over, but I haven't given you enough shit about it yet, so that was some more. A nice Ubiquity event would pretty sweet, can the jet (not Jet) come get me?

RIP Grey Goose 1980something-2005.
1986?
I will forever mourn the loss of the 70 shake. I feel that in these dark times the words of somerapperwhosenameIdon'tremember, whos beats we rocked many times in the Goose.

"my self esteem was saggin, just like my jeans."

Damn Abele, stealing my blog thunder with mistakes and inaccuracies!!! The Goose will soon be remembered properly, and it was a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. And, it was Kurious that said, "Just like my jeans, my self-esteem was saggin." Get it right, dammit!
